Putin threatens a Military Coup in Turkey

As we await a response from Putin, its worth quoting from a previous post regarding the current Russian-Turkish crisis:

On the 3rd of August, it was reported that Putin had threatened Turkeys president and this is what he allegedly said:

“Tell your dictator President he can go to hell along with his ISIS terrorists, I will make Syria a ‘Big Stalingrad for him!”

The source (Moscow Times) was questionable and so when we first published this, the prospect of Russian intervening in Syria was met with skepticism.

However, within a month of this article being published, Putin surprised the world and moved his military into Syria.

On September the 24th, the same source reported that Putin had given another message to the Turkish President, this time, a more direct one:

“If necessary we can stage a swift military coup against you, unless you desist from your desperate acts of supporting the violent Al-Qaeda terrorists.”

And then yesterday happened.

No one knows yet how Putin will choose to respond, but we don’t need to look further past the Chechen war, or the recent bombing of Raqqa (due to the Sinai bombing of the Russian airliner) to know that Putin has a history of heavy-handed responses.

It wouldn’t be too hard for Russia to invade Turkey – Even the US military is worried about Russia’s military capability.

Financial Crisis Deferred?

A few weeks back, we posted an article summarizing the very real fears of the World Bank and IMF about the upcoming Federal Reserve interest rate rise.

Since then we have been tracking updates as it happened on this page

It seems that two of these potential flash-points have been deferred till December.

1. Interest rate hike – deferred till December

Why is the world so worried about an interest rate hike?

Since the 2008 global financial crisis, many central banks have pumped money into the economy to create economic stimulus. That economic stimulus has failed unlike past occasions, but in the process it has also created a great deal of “cheap debt” – lots of high risk loans that are dependent on a low interest rate.

The IMF is concerned that once the rate goes up, that defaults will begin to occur around the world, and particularly in emerging markets.

But the problems don’t stop there. The Telegraph explains more:

2. US Government Shutdown – deferred till November

Congress may have averted a government shutdown until December 11, but lawmakers will be under the gun to raise or suspend the debt ceiling long before then.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew said Thursday he now estimates that “on or about” November 5, Treasury is likely to exhaust special accounting measures that are keeping the country’s debt below its legal limit.

At that point, the Treasury Department would only be able to pay the country’s bills with the cash it has on hand — which Lew expects to be roughly $30 billion.

And that would not be enough to cover the bills on some days, which can amount to $60 billion.

“We anticipate that our remaining cash would be depleted quickly,” Lew wrote in a letter to House Speaker John Boehner.

Lew stressed if that happens, it would be the first time in the country’s history that the United States could not meet all of its obligations.

“There is no way to predict the catastrophic damage that default would have on our economy and global financial markets,” he added.

Russia escalates the conflict in Syria

Russian warplanes have bombed a camp run by rebels trained by the CIA in their second day of strikes. Read more here:

Russia has demanded that American warplanes exit Syrian airspace immediately:

The official said that Russian diplomats sent an official message to the US ordering American planes out of Syria, adding that Russian fighter jets were now flying over Syrian territory, according to the report.

US military sources told the news outlet that US planes would not comply with the Russian demand. Watch CNNs coverage here:

What a week it has been!

Russian intervention in Syria has accelerated:

“Vladimir Putin is carrying out Russias biggest military intervention outside of the old Soviet Union for almost 30 years”

Here is a list of news articles that were published this week:

1. The building up of Russia’s “Image Empire”.

Yesterday, a US army general accused Putin of trying to re-establish the Russian Empire.

“When Russia makes its grand move for the building up of its Image-empire, then let the reader know that the end of all things, as at present constituted, is at hand” – Elpis Israel

2. Time Magazine Front Cover: “The New Roman Empire”.

Front cover of the September edition of the Time Magazine has a photo of Pope Francis next to the words “The New Roman Empire”.

What is so significant about this? The Prophet Daniel talks of the latter day revival of the Roman Empire. It will be an empire made of the Russians (the civil and military administration based in Constantinople) and the Roman Catholics (Religious administration based in Rome).

What will bring these administrations together? We might find out soon. Two powerful people will be making a rare appearance at the United Nations summit on post 2015 world governance in the next few days: Putin (first time attendance in 10 years) and the Pope.

Israel is visibly concerned about Russia’s presence and the possibility of a mistake happening. What Israel probably doesnt realize is that the Elohim will be working hard to avoid a crisis until the time is right.

Stratfor releases satellite images of Russian military in Syria

Russian expansion in Syria is taking place quickly.

Satellite images taken by Stratfor and published by Reuters show a build up of tanks, helicopters and other heavy weapons. It is estimated now that there is already 500 troops on the revamped air base.

Sources including Debkafile show that Russian troops are also actively fighting in Syria.

Turkey is becoming a logistical pain for Putin:

The increasing Russian military presence in Syria is not considered to be an invasion but once Russian casualties begin to mount its hard not to imagine Putin getting sucked into the vortex of the Middle East.

What is particularly obvious is that Russia is setting up infrastructure for quick access into the middle east through the development of a Syrian airbase.

However while the airbase is expanding its troop numbers via cargo flights, Russia is not allowed to fly through Turkey or Greece and therefore must take a very uneconomical route through Iran & Iraq.

Interesting to note that Turkey is a logistical thorn in Putins side at the moment as Russia continues to expand in Syria. Pro US Turkey and Greece won’t allow Russia to use their airspace – wonder how long this will last for. Source: Business Insider.

Furthermore all Russian naval cargo is coming through the Bosphorus which is a channel controlled by Turkey. It was recently reported that Turkey threatened to blockade the Bosporus to Russian ships. Imagine if they tried to do that anytime soon!
